Project Description

The project involves installation of 46 transmission towers over the length of 14.2 km from starting point at Diva, Airoli to proposed 400 kV switching station at Ghatkopar and terminates at tower No. 37 and 38 at Vikroli substation and the balance towers i.e 38 to 46 shall join the Kharghar - Vikroli line at tower no. 63.The project is also passing through the outer section of Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary.
